AI chat · privacy notice
What happens to your chat data.
This notice covers the MiniSage website assistant, optional human takeover through Telegram, and the optional follow-up form. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card details, or another person’s customer data.
Who is responsible
MiniSage Tech Ltd is the controller for this website chat. Questions or data-rights requests can be sent to hello@minisage.co.uk. MiniSage Tech Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company 17229324) and with the ICO (C1941625).
What we collect
- messages you send and replies shown in the conversation;
- technical session, security, rate-limit, delivery, and escalation records;
- qualification details you provide about your platform, market, goal, workflow, timing, or decision stage;
- your name, contact details, and follow-up message only if you choose the follow-up form.
Why we use it
We use chat data to answer product questions, understand what help is needed, protect the service, and let an authorised MiniSage person join when you request human help or report a credible active security incident. We use contact-form details only to respond to the follow-up you requested.
Automation and human takeover
The assistant may use automated classification and AI-generated planning, but product facts are restricted to approved MiniSage information. AI answers can be wrong. A human is not notified merely because the assistant is uncertain. If human takeover is activated, relevant conversation context is sent to MiniSage’s allowlisted Telegram chat and the authorised person’s replies appear in the website conversation.
Legal bases
We rely on legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the product-information service and to respond to credible security reports. When you submit the follow-up form, we process those details because you explicitly ask MiniSage to contact you. Depending on the request, taking steps before a contract may also apply.
Service providers and international processing
Hosting, database, messaging, queue-delivery, and approved AI-provider services may process data for MiniSage under their service terms and configured safeguards. The active provider list and transfer assessment must be approved before AI-provider or contact-form processing is enabled.
How long we keep it
Chat and human-takeover content is scheduled for deletion no later than one year after collection. An unconverted follow-up request is scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Rate-limit counters are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. Security and operational records may use a different documented period.
Your choices and rights
You do not have to use the chat or follow-up form; you can email MiniSage instead. You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection where applicable, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact hello@minisage.co.uk so we can identify the relevant conversation safely.
